Ben Hedström is an award-winning contemporary Australian artist working on Gubbi Gubbi country on the Sunshine Coast.
His impasto technique fuses expressive gesture with realist detail, transforming surface texture, light, and reflection into a dialogue between the physical landscape and its emotional resonance.
Hedström’s work has been featured as a finalist in many art prizes, including the Archibald Prize. His work is held in the Sunshine Coast Art Collection and private collections in Australia, the UK, and the USA.
